The CHILDREN'S FARM, Inc., founded in 1976, is a nonprofit school for young children ages three to five years. The half-day program emphasizes fostering the child's intellectual, social, physical, and emotional growth, using the farm animals, garden and nature as the learning environment. Based on well-researched psychology and educational theory, the Children's Farm philosophy incorporates mutual respect, experiential learning, and confidence building in its teaching with young children. The Children's Farm also offers summer classes for children ages 3-9 years, parent and child together sessions, and parent and teacher seminars and workshops. |
